In 1999, portable MP3 players became available to the public for the first time. Since then, MP3 players have become one of the most widely used media devices for music listeners. They are portable, in fact some of them are very compact, and can usually hold a large number of songs.
Today, many automotive and motorcycle companies have incorporated some method or another for integrating an MP3 player into the vehicle's sound system - bluetooth for example. Some have MP3 storage and playback built in.
Suffice it to say that, as good as the Clarion/Suzuki stereo systems are, Cavalcades where on the road long before MP3 players were invented.
Here at Global-Wide Services, we will custom fit an interface into your stereo that will allow you to listen to an MP3 player – or anything that uses a 3.5mm (1/8”) jack – while you ride. See our Service Department.
Many owners have tried to use a cassette adapter in order to listen to their MP3 players, GPS devices, etc. Sadly, most don't even fit. Quite often, the owner discovers that their cassette player does not work. Now you can listen to what you want, the way you want, on your bike!
P.S. If your cassette deck is clicking, when you insert a tape or an adapter, we can fix that. See our Additional Services section.
